Australia’s world-first under-16s social media ban is facing its first major legal challenge in the High Court this week.
Social platform Reddit and advocacy group the Digital Freedom Project are seeking to overturn the ban, which came into effect last year, arguing that it places an “intense burden” on the implied constitutional right to political communication.
